While not challenging the false assumptions of Global Warming as a whole, the U.S. nonetheless is objecting to the target of keeping the global temperature rise below 2 degrees celsius this century and to the target of halving greenhouse gas emissions by 2050. The U.S. is also seeking to remove a section acknowledging that the UN is the "appropriate forum" for agreeing on further action. BBC also reports that the US officials are questioning the draft's call for the establishment of a global carbon market.</p></div></body>
